Update: Apparently Kevin Knuth didn’t like this post, but it’s the truth. He had this to say:
Well, go to Souder’s website- you get ONE PAGE- with NOTHING on it.
He obviously wasn’t looking at this site: http://souder.house.gov/. Go here to see where Mark is on the issues.
That’s selective reporting. When you have literary master-baiters like Benji Lanka and Tracy Warner teaching you, what do you expect?

By all outward appearances, Montagano is nothing more than a pretty-boy in an empty suit.
Do a search for him under Google News, you get nothing. While the leftard’s are singing his praises, he’s not said anything yet. As a matter of fact the only significant news story about him was when he pandered to voters and gave out dollar bills at a gas station.
If you’ll recall, Hayhurst was very late in the game only coming down on the issues about 5–6 weeks before the election. Go to Montagano’s web site to research where he is on the positions, you get nothing.

All we’ve seen or heard from Montagano is his running around attending fund raisers for Obama and JLT in his Italian suits with his George Hamilton suntan and toothy Mr. Ed smile.
Where’s the beef Mike?

I’m surprised to hear that the Knewt is even making a comment. He has been strangely quiet since he announced his run for council.
Actually Mr. Montagano has done something that matters politically; he has raised a lot of money.
I do agree with you that to date he has been sorely lacking on issues.
One thing I do know is that he ran a pro-life commercial…

Am I the only one who thinks it’s strange that issues and platforms are usually the last things that candidates announce? It seems to me like the issues are the things that (should) cause the candidates to run for office in the first place…so it should be easy to tell everyone where you stand.
I guess my youthful idealism still hasn’t been squashed.
Has Montagano said squat about what he believes? I must have missed his “pro-life” commercial…just his mother saying they taught him every life has value. That could mean anything.
Also, I’ve been thinking, is there a difference between “raising money” and “being funded?”

Very well said, I’ve often wondered where the real issues and substance
issues are with Political candidates. I just know, I am voting against
the lesser evils based on what we have to work with.
