Sometimes the left just can’t see the truth for what it is.
After disclosure of campaign funds in the quarterly report, the Daniels’ camp began screeching about Jill Long Thompson’s contributions from out of state. JLT received substantial contributions from out-of-state donors, and the Daniels’ people would have you believe that Daniels’ is the darling of every day, average Hoosiers who are ponying up small contributions to his campaign.
As I’ve posted before, Long-Thompson’s money hardly comes from the little people, and thus far only a scant amount has come from Hoosiers. Hoosiers are not backing Jilly, pro baby-killers and union thugs are and their money represents close to 80% of Long-Thompson’s contributions to-date.
The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) has contributed over $700,000 to Long-Thompson’s campaign and promised millions more if needed. The SEIU basically steals money from state employees.
A federal judge has ordered the state’s largest public employee union to repay as many as 28,000 non-union state workers who were not given a chance to challenge a 2005 dues increase to fight initiatives backed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“This is an opportunity for the state employees to reclaim the special assessment money that was taken from them unlawfully and used to advocate political causes they might disagree with,†said Justin Hakes, spokesman for the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation in Virginia, which provided legal advice to the state workers who sued.
Charlotte continues with this..
On July 22, 2008, however, the Republican Governor’s Association located in Washington, D.C. contributed a whopping $725,000 – just shy of three quarters of a million dollars – to the Daniels’ campaign. Their contribution belies Daniels’ arguments that he is supported by your “average Hoosiers.â€
Sorry, Charlotte, but that’s horse hockey and you know it. Both the Republican Governor’s Association and the Democrat Governor’s Associations have contributed to BOTH candidates. The left is simply dismayed because the Democrat Governor’s Association only gave Long-Thompson $75,000.
The fact remains, more than 80% of Long-Thompson’s funds are from out-of-state even if you exclude the $75k from the Governor’s Association, and excluding the same from Daniel’s, 94% of his contributions came from Hoosiers.
