And remember kids…you can’t have ANY ANALYSIS with something being ANAL in the process, kapesh?

    ;)

    B.G.

  2. J. Q. Taxpayer says:

Gosh, I wish someone would pay me that kind of money to take data furnished by the county, run it through a software program, and then write a report. Then qualify every statement that everything depends on how good the data the county provided is and how things go. If you did this in most jobs you would get fired.

$30K worth of garbage!! After all it’s, “garbage in – garbage out”( less $30,000). Per Nelson Peters, ” But, John, if we don’t do this we will lose the $11 million from DC”. Well, Comish, adding four times that amount to save it is like my wife going shopping to, ” save money”. It just does not work that way! NOTHING COMES FROM WASHINGTON DC FOR FREE, EVER! Let Souder have his $11 million hog trough filler. There is probably a “bridge to no-where” in the state of Alaska that needs it!

What is the rate on return.
Every tax paying person in Allen County needs to exercise our new
    referendum vote .

The Maplecrest Extension is dead. We do not need to spend $44 mil to save $11 mill for a total projected cost of $55 million.

Do we need $11 million state/federal dollars to build an obsolete
passway, bridge, road from Maplecrest to Where…New Haven?

This development will cost $55 million dollars from our tay paying people that live right here in Allen County.
Again… what’s the rate on return on this investment.

  5. Jeff Pruitt says:

We won’t lose $11 million – that is total bullshit. Souder said himself that the county could ask to have that money reallocated.

But what could we spend it on? Hmmm… What about having it pay for some of the maintenance on our existing bridges that we can’t seem to pay for and are going to have to raise taxes because of?

Nah. Let’s just build four more bridges we can’t afford to maintain.

    Brilliant!

  6. Jeff Pruitt says:

    Bobbett,

According to the economic impact study the rate of return on our $44 million investment would be about 1600%. Seriously, I can’t even type that w/o bursting into laughter – it’s absurd…
