Although I like the thinking behind Operation Chaos, I would caution anyone from switching over. It would make it harder to be involved in the Republican Party officially. You could not run for any elected office from State Delegate on up. We need good people to become active in the Party, and although you were thinking right, your actions would be left, I am sorry, wrong and illegal according to Election Law no matter how weak it might be.
As if the dirty tricks and mud-slinging from the candidates wasn’t enough, now Rush et al want regular folks to get involved in it, too. I really thought that here in the midwest, our character and was better than that. I am disappointed in anyone who would intentioanally cross over and vote for someone in order to cause ‘chaos’, although I know there is a certain (small) percentage who do, but I am truly sickened by anyone who would take to the airways and actually suggest this to his listeners. This is not a game. This is real, folks. My grandmother was born before women had the right to vote. People actually went to jail, fighting for the right to vote. But this is also America, and everyone is free to vote as they want, for whatever reason or motivation.
Actually, I need you all to stay in the Republican primary and vote for me.

Why now Ab, you and the party official hot-shots like Stevie, Cathy, Ken, Karen,and Sammmy T. too name afew, did not “caution’ anyone 6 months ago from “SWITCHING OVER”. Matt Kelty needed the whole partys help, and you folk’s let him down “BIG TIME”.
I don’t see the big deal in switch hitting during the primary.
I thought it was tradition in Allen County to jump to the most politically convenient option whenever the feeling was right, or left.
Don’t blame Mr. Crosby. He worked for the Republican nominees for mayor and council and kept the party together as best he could.
He worked his tail off to help the Republican ticket last fall.
Blame others if you must like Cathy, Ken, John, Sam, Larry, and the whole lot of them. But Ab Crosby is true blue.
Switching over because you truely want to support the other party is one thing, but I think voting in the primary for the Party that you plan on voting against in the general election is cowardly.
Rather than make a legal challenge though, the Party chairs should just compile a list of all these faux switch-hitters and harass the hell out of them when they advocate for the other Party in the future.
If you have publicly stated enough opinions that you could be identified as a strong partisan, but you vote in the opposite party’s primary, I think you have seriously diminished your credibility.
Either you lied to the election officials (which is a crime), or you have been lying to the public all along. Either way, you’re a liar.
