I drove past the BP at Scott and Illinois this morning and there were 7 cars filling up. Boycotts don’t work unless you’re Imus and MSNBC, and then it was the advertisers’ boycott.
I doubt the prices will change from today to tomorrow. If I owned a gas station and made the measly 2-3 cents per gallon most stations make I’d raise my prices tomorrow just to show the leftards how trivial they are.
It’s called supply and demand and every refinery is running at 100% because we keep driving more and more. If you really want to make a change, make sure your tires are properly inflated and consolidate those trips to the grocery store, etc.
Think of it this way. If every car owner saved just 1 gallon a week that would be about $165 per year per car. Take that time the estimated 62 million cars are registered in the US and it comes to $10,230,000,000 per year in savings and the refineries could slow down a bit AND prices would back off as well.

I’m one of the worst (or is that best) when it comes to driving “frugally)….
We tank up the wife’s car every OTHER week,…cimbine trips, etc…
As for my car…well, we use it in emergencies. and as such, fill when needed…every other month…LOL!
Some other numbers to crunch are that in the past 31 years, not ONE new refinery has been built (thanks to the environmentally-conscious DEMS who lobbied AGAINST new constructs). Nor has nay major EXPANSION of existing facilities been orchestrated.
And consumer demand has increased by about 1% every one OF those 31 years.
Every time you fill up…don’t forget to thank a Democrat…OK?
