Nobody should get too ‘up in arms’ about this. It happens every year in Ohio. In Athens, OH, home of Ohio University, it is actually treated as a strange holiday of sorts. When the hour is lost, the streets fill with drunks and students alike (I know…how do you differentiate?) in a Mardi Gras style procession. So many people carry booze openly up and down the streets that the Athens PD has to call in Ohio State Troopers each year to fortify their law enforcement efforts. It’s really pretty funny.

This DST shit really pisses on the 4th of July fireworks as a family event.Considering that sundown on the 4th will be 9:50. . .they won’t be able to even start until at least 10:30.

I don’t know about you, John, but my kids will probably be allowed to stay up and watch…no sense in being a hardass about it!
