Remember you read it here first. The Dems want to retool, for Obama will lose big in November. Thus they are setting O up to be a martyr to the Gay Cause. Look for him to go down at the Convention, maybe to even resign due to scandal. That will clear the path for a bipartisan ticket from the Dems seeking to keep control of the Swamp.
